The review is really useful. With more use of mobile and handheld devices – mobile version of website has become sort of norm. Its time that wordpress itself redesigns itself by developing mobile version of itself.

Great list so far, but I’d like to add mine into the mix, it’s called the Wapple Architect Mobile Plugin for WordPress and it’s written in WAPL.

It retains all SEO, keeps the same URL structure and makes sure that all styling from web to mobile is the same. It means that you get a browsing experience that is consistent across all platforms and works on every device in the world – even pre-release handsets!

I’ve just released version 1.3 and added features such as commenting from mobile, image resizing and chopping up pages into smaller chunks, I’ve also added loads of configurable options too so you can really go to town to make your site look great.

As for deficiencies, the only feature I’d really like to see is the ability to serve differenct CSS (or possibly a different theme entirely) to touch devices.
