Fitness matters more than weight

Perhaps, some experts say, we are not asking the right question in the
first place. Maybe we are so used to framing health issues in terms of
obesity that we are overlooking other potential causes of disease.

I thought this article from the New York Times was interesting. There seems to be growing evidence that if you have to choose between being fit and fat or unfit and thin, that the former is the better option.

I know that I need to improve my diet. It’s not terrible, but I do need to watch what I’m eating, particularly when I got out to eat.

This article is a great reminder for me to focus on nutrition and health, rather than simply on losing weight for the sake of it.
